Systemadministrator

The University of Köln is one of the largest German universities. The Regional Computer Centre (RRZK) is a central institution of the University of Cologne, which aims as a service and competence center for technical and scientific cooperation at the provincial, federal and international levels.

As a system administrator (m / f) are integrated into our systems department. You are in a heterogeneous system environment for the responsible team and

the University are responsible for the following tasks:
Administration and operation of the Windows Server environment
Administration and operation of the Active Directory environment
Desktop Management and Software Deployment
Conceptual development of our current Windows environment
Implementation of infrastructure projects such as a Windows 7 rollout
Advice and support of our departments in the implementation of projects
Supporting users with Windows-related IT issues
Monitoring and documentation of the Windows-based IT environment
Expected to be very good expertise in the operating systems Windows 7, Windows 2008 Server and Active Directory. They have experience with system management systems and knowledge of IT processes with ITIL standards. You can prove your skills on relevant certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCITP). Proactive, team-oriented work and scrupulous documentation is self-evident. A high level of communication skills, consulting skills, customer orientation and flexibility, we also assume.
In the presence of agreed conditions, the classification is made in the pay band 9 TV-L.
