Safety
- Ensure adherence to company safety and maintenance policies and procedures
- Participate in the Safety Training Observation Program (STOP)
- Participate in both weekly and operational safety meetings
- Oversee implementation of job safety analyses and hazard assessments
- Carry out inspections and audits according to the Quality Safety Management Systems requirements
- Assume role on investigation team with major incident occurs
- Accountable for maintenance of hull integrity
Maintenance
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and policies
- Lead Root Cause Failure analysis and lessons learned process
- Ensure the preventive maintenance program is executed in compliance with company standards
- Ensure system is accurate and up to date
- Accountable for driving continuous auditing process on the rigs to ensure compliance with company standards
- Ensure proper close out process of all action items with proper follow up
- Assume control over maintenance and capital budgets
- Ensure proper document control system is in place
- Responsible for tracking and follow up of MA and RES request
- Track and analyze AME KPIs
- Responsible for ensuring continuous monitoring programs are followed
- Responsible for 5 year plan and technical requirements forecasting for assigned asset (s)
- Coordinate and collaborate with project team on shipyard work scope
- Ensure rig drawings are kept-to-date
- Ensure general maintenance, operation, repair records and documentation are accurate and up to date, maintaining all rig certificates are up to date
- Responsible for maintaining accurate rig equipment records
- Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, equipment manufacturer¡¦s recommendations, Rig Operating Manual and regulatory requirements and codes
- Ensure necessary spares are available to the rig at all times
- Work closely with the Rig Performance Manager around maintenance activities and evaluate potential impact to operations
- Manage and track equipment movement between rig, yards and workshops
- Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with the Permit to Work System
- Arrange third party inspections and reports
- Supervise class, flag and regulatory body requirements
- Assist in rig moves as required

Personnel
- Accountable and responsible for the talent review and succession planning process in the maintenance departments on the rig
- Ensure the roles, responsibilities, authorities, accountabilities and performance measures of direct reports are defined, understood and enforced
- Establish goals and priorities with direct reports
- Ensure a high level of productivity, teamwork and employee satisfaction within the maintenance team

General Management
- Establish a system of accountability and monitors the performance of direct reports
- Review rig maintenance performance against performance measures; establish initiatives with the team to achieve goals and objectives
- Develop and implement mechanisms to achieve effective communication, coordination of effort, information flow and learning with direct reports



Status: Staff
Required Skills/Experience: Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related educational equivalent from and accredited technical or trade school or institute is preferred
Desired Skills/Experience: Must have operation and/or maintenance experience in an offshore drilling operation
Is process oriented and well organized
Required Qualifications: Offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by government regulations are required
Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
